I use to see advertisements for this place up in Michigan all the time...the Real Tree guys use to hunt and video there...anyone every been? I havent seen anything about it in a long time...just curious if it is still around..

They're still in business. Those northern deer don't live as long as their southern counterparts, especially when carrying a high number of them/acre. A Texas biologist convinced Sanctuary that they needed to let their deer get to 6.5 before harvest. The number of mature trophy deer fell dramatically as did quality of antlers, because those still alive were going downhill fast. I believe they've gone back to harvesting 4.5 year old deer. Some of the original Sanctuary crew left and went to other well-known Midwest ranches and took a bunch of Sanctuary's hunters with them.
