My wife usually does all that she can to drag me away from the ranch every weekend. She was in the middle of packing up when I snuck to the back porch with my tine ticklers to see what I could rattle up. I gave 'em a couple of good raps and waited. They are starting to rut pretty good so I expected the outlying 2 and 3 year olds to show up quickly, and they did. I goofed around with them a little by grunting, bleating, and giving them my best attempt at a snort wheeze. I must have done something right. After the last little ensemble of venison vibrato the mack daddy showed up and he was pissed. He ran all of the young and eager out of there and stared a hole through where he guessed me to be. After a few very intense minutes he strolled back towards his lady in waiting. I was sitting on a few golden bricks and hurried in to grab my camera. This is the best shot I got of him. Enjoy!

What a stud. I too am curious as to why you didn't shoot him? Out of tags?
