I pour corn directly on the ground for fear of getting a feeder stolen. I have some issue with raccoons eating it, but I seem to have a bigger issue with crows. Some of the pictures I have will show crows all over the main spot I poured the corn and deer between them and the camera, but not mixing. I have another day where the crows seem to have been there eating corn all day long. My question is whether there is something I can do to scare the crows away. I was thinking maybe one of those large plastic owls in a nearby tree.

I got three votes for shotgun so I am willing to give that a try. I could care less about the crows, but is there a quitter way. I would be afraid to blast a shotgun in my hunting area this late in the season. If not then they will get the 12 after doe days.

Once managed a pecan orchard in Jack County. Crows are evil. The only solution is something that goes BOOM BOOM.

Pellet gun works for Crows, and they are quiet, too.

I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

Don't pile corn, hand throw out where you spread out thinner and over a large area. At least it'll slow crows some. A friend has a Gamo pellet rifle that's quite and is a crow killing machine while your in stand he claims.
