It's just about time to replace that worn out hunting cooler. Over the last year, we've been asked about a thousand times how we compare to Yeti Coolers. In an effort to clear it up, we decided to make a video highlighting the key differences between our two companies and products. We've spent the last few years refining just about every component our Brute Outdoors ice chests to further improve performance and overall quality. We're proud of the progress and will only continue to make improvements and deliver the premiere cooler in the industry.

I'm all up for a good comparison, and I don't have a dog in this fight, and (so many ands) you guys make a great cooler, but you know that they also make Yetis in the US. So 23 seconds in the video is misleading.
Like I said, I love a show down, but get turned off when it's not a "fair fight" Of course most companies do this in comparison videos.

Diesel, Yeti offers a few made in USA coolers by special order only. Just about every single Yeti you've ever seen in a store is made in the Philippines.
We source every piece of our product here in good ol' USA.
Thanks, Jeremy

I bought Icehole coolers over both of them. They are from Kerrville, Texas.

Borrowed my Dad's Brute two weeks ago to go Quail hunting, it's the big one (100 quarts I think - maybe bigger), we put six bags of ice in it Saturday morning, it was 85 Both Saturday & Sunday, then got to 75 on Monday, we opened & closed the cooler many times through the weekend & still had over half the ice we started with Monday evening when we got home. It was in the sun pretty much the whole weekend too. Heck of a cooler.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I had a great friend that was a snowman. He melted and I cried.
I put his remains in a Brute Cooler and opened it several days later.
To my shock and utter enjoyment, there was Mr. Snowflake, alive and well.
Thanks, Brute!

I'd love to have one but really I can't bring myself to spend $400 or $500 on an ice chest. I don't care where it's made. My 120 quart igloos don't hold the ice as good but for three or four day trips to the deer lease and icing down dead animal they do the job well enough for the price and no one has stolen one out of my truck or off my hitch hauler when I stop at a Walmart. Great products guys but it's like buying a 1 ton 4WD pickup when you only drive 5 miles a day one way to work in town and never haul anything or get off road. Bring them down to about half the price and I'm in. Other wise I will buy two more igloos when these quit working. But they have lasted through the last 5 seasons and way over a hundred dead deer and pigs already so . . .

I have never hunted so far away from civilization that I needed more than a few days worth of ice storage. The incremental cost of ice is a lot less than the diffence in price between and Igloo and any of the premium coolers. Besides, the folks from Igloo provide quite a few jobs at their facilities in Katy. Not trying to bash anyone, but there is no way I can justify spending that type of money when there are several functional options available at a fraction of the price.
