Went out to lake Ecks this morning. Besides a rather impressive / annoying flock of cormorants and a tiny teal buzz by, we didnt see much at all. Packed up by 9; home by 10am. Same Place I almost limited last week.
I figure, last week's bag was all locals and they're all but shot down by now. Now's the big wait for the Migrators. I may try again tomorrow morning; we'll see.

If you got the time to hunt... do it! I saw the same types of things in my area too- Redheads about the only thing in any numbers
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.
