Went there last Friday to try it out....
Brisket was pretty good along with the ribs......stay away from the Kreuz sausage though.....GREASY AS HELL!!!

been there twice. First time I got the brisket lean (a little on the dry side for me). Second time I got the moist and loved it. Beans were great as well.
FYI, they are opening one in downtown plano.

I like Lockhart Smokehouse. I have only been twice, but the brisket and ribs have been great both times. As for Kreuz sausage, I think it is a little overrated in my opinion. I know a lot of people love it, but I have always thought it was just ok. The jalapeno is better than the original version.

first time I was in love, but they have gotten ok at best in my visits since. The pricing is a bit steep, but I do love their sausage. Chicken was dry. Overall pretty good, but they do have their off days. Christophers smokehouse bbq in downtown cedar hill has better tasting brisket (I get the chopped beef and drink special for $4.00), and their turkey legs are HUGE and delicious for $7. I think if lockhart was a little more consistent in their product It would be may favorite (I workd mornings so pecan lodge's limited hours keeps me away).
