I have a question for the hog hunters. I have some big hogs showing up on my camera at random hours, mostly nights at my feeder. I have a kill light under my feeder. We have baited them with soured corn and they hang out for 2-3 hours. I have spent hours in the stand at night not seeing any of them, but after I leave of course they are on the camera. I'm scent free and being very quiet. Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

First of all, the soured corn isn't a significant factor. Don't worry about using it.
Scent free and quiet? Probably not. Scent free is a fantasy. Quiet is relative.
Hogs don't always come on a regular schedule. It actually took me months to get my first hog and it was just hit or miss as it turned out but the pattern was much like yours. I haven't changed scent issues and I doubt I am more quiet in the stand, but I know more about hogs now and more what to listen for in the woods when I am sitting there in the dark...and I get more hogs now.
Getting night vision mad a huge difference. Getting a thermal scope for scanning did even more for hunting than just getting night vision.
Are you using night vision? If you are just relying on your feeder light, you may find that the hogs are around you, but just not under the feeder.

Spy, no night vision, relying on the feeder light mostly. I used the sour corn because regular corn from the feeder they eat in minutes and are gone. This is a tough herd of hogs, mostly big boars. Others that I have hunted were not this tough.

The only thing consistent about hogs is their inconsistency. They are very random critters with good noses. If your setup is amenable to it elevation can be your friend. No need to go through the trouble of souring the corn, unless you just enjoy it. Dig a post-hole about 2 feet deep, fill it with corn. That'll hold them in the area for a while. They are also greedy. They eat like pigs and will keep coming back for that one last kernel. Be prepared for that post-hole of corn to become the size of a small pond. Good luck and be safe!

Ours are very random also. I tried a hog pipe at our trap and it seemed to keep them interested for longer.. have only used it once tho so curious to try it again...

Regular corn, souring doesn't really help over the long haul. Night vision and spotters (particularly thermal) make a huge difference. Pigs are random, prepare to sit all night if that is what it takes. They'll come 3 nights or a week in a row, then not at all for a month. No method to the madness.
Better detection equipment (night vision, thermal scopes/spotters), alternate methods (stand vs stalk vs drive around) and experience help with success...

Night equipment and stalking is the only way I can get them, during the mornings I can get a kill but the rest of the day is ruined because they go back in the thick-it. At night I can hit them and follow every move they make til they leave the property or catch another group in the act. The only problem is night equipment is not cheap if you can't afford it renting one will be your best bet.
Good luck

Sprinkle a strong sweet spelling item over your corn. I use grape Kool aid and just put the powder on the corn. Then keep the wind in your face from the baited area. Back track to see where they are coming from and make sure its not from behind you. Keep in mind that hogs use their nose for everything. ..feeding and defense.
Affordable hunting out of Bounds.

My hogs are very much hit and miss so I plan on a night in the blind. I have a big enough blind to stretch out in. I use motion detectors (driveway patrol) on ebay and cut the wire on the speaker. I put the sensor by my feeder then I set my vibrate alarm on my phone for every 30 minutes. I get in my sleeping bag with my phone and pass out. Wake up every 30 minutes and look at my detector. If the lights are flashing (I have the lights covered but I can still see them) I get up and pop a hog, if not, I don't move or get out of the bag. I can get a good nights sleep and still get a hog or not but I'm not dead tired in the morning. I then start deer hunting at dawn. I have night vision but the $30 motion detector was my best investment, I don't have to stare into the dark or turn my scope on all night long.

Double K I'm using cherry kool aid, it just seems whatever night I go, they do not show up that night. My experience about this and other attractants is that if they are used to something such as regular corn and you throw a new smell out....they will often pass on it and you may never see them or know they were there. Again, hogs are random. Keep at it and you will be there the right night. Night vision equipment can improve your odds. The more you invest, the more capability you have. Thermal is expensive, but it is a game changer...

stay with it, is my advice. little over month ago had hogs showing up at feeders also, first one or two, right at dark-thirty just abit after timmer went off, would go over to gravity feeder an through plain ol corn out bye hand, spread out in area, hogs came in for about week straght, they were bedding close to electric feeder, preasure will change their habit, weather it be hunter or dogs, keep at it.

I tried feeder lights alone and they were OK if the hogs came into the feeder. I tried scanning with green kill light to pick up eyes and that worked OK for a while. I picked up a cheap gen 1 night vision monocular to scan the area with and finish the deal with a green light and my kill ratio went up considerably. Just scan with one eye and shoot with the other so you don't night blind your shooting eye! Later, I got a N750 Digisight and the world changed and my kill ratio went up another notch.
And yeah, I've been known to sleep in my stands with cell phone alarms but the driveway alarm is genus, thank you Sir!!!!
