Accomplished this flawless limit no more than 30 hours ago. Had groups of 20 plus trying to land in the decoys all morning.  You are my hero!

Accomplished this flawless limit no more than 30 hours ago. Had groups of 20 plus trying to land in the decoys all morning. You are my hero! Only if he eats them....and at a single sitting!

One of my favorites from yrs back. Solo hunt. 5/5.  My two favorite group limits.

Not perfect, but the circumstances were. New clients, father and son on their first duck hunt. Son talked non stop all morning on the way to the lake. "I want a mallard, I want a pintail, I want a widgeon", etc, etc. Sounded like that rich kid, Spaulding, on Caddy shack. Told him we'd get what we'd get. These usually don't end well. He had 4 species down and to finish out, he shot the 2nd greenhead and the hen on a scotch double. Proud young man.  "It's easy to grin, when your ship comes in..."

I don't even want to show y'all the group photo, a lot of spoonies died that day!! They taste just like a blue wing to me. I'll easily take down 12 chicken fried spoonie breasts in one sitting!!

5 greenheads and dont care what the other is. ive done this twice. once with a wood duck as my 6th and once with a greenwing teal. i was tickled with both.
