We have 6 Private Ranch Landowner Rifle Elk tags available in unit #12. These 5 day hunts can be used anytime between Nov. 15 - Dec. 31st. The closest town is Fence Lake, Nm 2:45 west of Albuquerque. We have a ranch house that will sleep 6 comfortably with meals and guide provided.We have 10 different ranches you can hunt. Last years 26 rifle hunters had 100% shot opportunity, 20 took bulls of which 14 were 6x6 or bigger!!! The elk pour into our area during the rut and then stay for the winter rye we put in the ground. 320" is the average bull but we took a 375", 364" and a 345" last year. Average shots are 200-300 yards. This is not a physical hunt you will ride in on trucks and then hike from there but the elevation is only 6000 ft. The price is $6500 per man.
