Really rare find if you found it in texas blarue, I'm impressed! I found it on a hunting trip in Missouri. I've done a little research since i found it and it seems like these stone axes are predominately found in northern midwestern states. Interesting that the comanche and kiowa didnt need or wouldnt trade for one.

My grandpa has a farm in southern Arkansas and he plowed one up that looked identical to that. Even the color of the stone is the same. He gave it to my dad to add in his collection.

I have around 4000 personal finds and still no groove axe. Those jokers are hard to come across in most places. Good find.
