I saw a 2 yr old chasing a couple doe Sunday morning, but no signs of any mature bucks interested in the females yet. I typically see chasing start the second week of the season, but am hearing around Tuscola they are already chasing..... I hunt the Bradshaw and the Escoba. We had a buck breed a doe at the Escoba on 11-2. They are chasing hard on our two places. Ferris lease?

"Big Boy" came out scent checking 10 doe a few minutes before dark last night. He will be my biggest buck so far, if I can close the deal. Does all took off and he came back and ate corn with his butt to me, for a couple seconds and walked directly away from me. Got my heart racing.......I think its finally starting on my place!!

No deer tonight, just a couple pigs. They got a pass cause I didn't feel like messing with them. Didn't see any deer on the Hwy coming back into town either....

I don't know if it's called hunting, but I'm in the stand huddled next to my $2 heater.....but wouldn't take $100 for it this morning. Very little wind if any near Rust Processors here in central Eastland county.

Still haven't even heard the birds wake up yet.....quiet here birds are just now chirping over my way. One buck one doe is all I've saw. Buck was swollen up. I'll give it another 30 min before I head to work
