Had several taken off our lease last weekend that were chasing does. This morning saw a young doe at feeder, followed by a young 8, he didn't seem too excited.

I live in The Woodlands in North Houston and the rut is on here. I ought to just hunt behind my fence, LOL.

I saw a 6 chasing a doe around but she wasn't hot yet the young ones are chasing the does around here but there just being young and dumb it's gonna be another week or two before the real rut starts, I've noticed where I am in the Hood, Erath, Palo Pinto, Parker county area around Nov 17th is the peak of the rut.

Back in stand again for the eve, not good reception at camp so I have to post who lie on stand😊
Saw a doe with yearling @ 7am, stayed for 45 min, young spike came in fast and ran off the doe while grunting, young one stayed and finished off the corn. Got some big and j bb2 out now, see what happens

Wow what an awesome Buck Congrats. I didn't see a dam thing from noon to dark on Friday, then daylight to noon on Sat and 230 to dark SAT and then Daylight to Noon Sunday. I'm gonna try this weekend again. It's suppose to rain but I'm in a blind so I will be dry. Keep up the good work my Brother.
