The EPA and Obama back doored us again. They've reg the last active lead mining and smelting operation out of business. After they purchased billions of rounds of ammo and drove all prices up. Best get used to Copper!

Good reading, Now I know why smelted cleaned scrap lead prices went up last week.

There's no way that this won't have an impact on the price of components and ammo, no matter how many old batteries are laying around. Crisis, maybe not. Increased prices, you can bet yer a$$.

One of the guys at our club is making shot & lead bullets from wheel wgts. He went thru heck getting the recycled lead to work and its still a poor choice. If some remember when Norm's claim to fame was all virgin brass.
