I would love to know haw that works so I can get my money back. I am sure you have to go through all kinds of BS and then have the original reciept and probably have the hunt videotaped.
I never found my doe from opening weekend. There was a huge blood trail that I followed for about 200 yards through tall grass, but I never found her. As if that wasn't dissapointing enough, when I took the rage 2 blade off and tried to clean it under running tap water the hole thing fell apart. The blades and roll pin were just sitting in the sink. They have replacement parts, but I wouldn't expect it to just fall apart after one shot. The next one I shot was at a coon that I also never found. When I retrieved the arrow the only thing there was the head with no blades. I guess it just fell apart also.

I shot two deer with the three blades and when I went to put new blades on them the cut on contact head screw stripped on three of them. Then to top that off the piece of ferrule that holds the pratice blades on the pratice pratice head completely broke off. I packaged them up and sent them to Rage. They shoot great, but maybe I should of kept using my Montec g-5s. Replacing the blades are a pain in the rear!!!

Must be the El Campo animals that ruin them. That's where I shot mine.

Make your own judgment.I had a blade on one of the 3 blade broadheads deploy as it left the bow, enough to make me not use them again.

I love the Rage broadheads. I have seen recovered animals with bad shots that wouldn't have been recovered with any other broadhead. They are wicked on deer. As with any shot, if you have a good shot then they will take the deer down quickly. If it's a marginal shot then I would take the Rage over any other broadhead.

Last deer I shot with the rage only went about 40 yards. Since I switched to shooting faster bows I have had zero complaints about the rage.

Why? Give them a try and make your on choice. I killed a deer with a 3 blade this year. I had no problem with them at all.

Give them a try, I have been very happy with them, I have not had a deer run more then 25' after the shot. Blades are easy to replace.

I shot a deer a couple of weeks ago with the Rage 2 blade. It had a clean pass through and the deer did not go more than 20'. I recovered the Rage and cleaned it up a bit. I did have to replace the rubber grommet and sharpen the blades. The only apparent dammage is a very small "nick" in one of the blades where it must have either hit a rib or a rock after passing through the deer. I'm going to put it back into service, but I may save it just for varmints to be on the safe side.

i was shooting one from a new package for zero and it flew erratically. upon inspection the cut on contact tip was not in straight. Same for the other 2 in the package. it could be fixed with hex screw but had I not noticed it would have been a missed deer

I have shot them for 3 years and have killed (I think) 9 deer with them now. Never had any trouble with them at all.

Yes, they fly great, but I just hated trying to replace the little screws and blades. Than, A few of my screws stripped out. Also, as uncle_teddy was saying I had funny flight, but noticed the cut on tip was'nt stright from factory. Once I fixed it they shot great. I killed two deer this year and they went down fast. Even the three blade makes one heck of a cut. I'm shooting a pse Dreamseason 73# with axis 340's moving at about 304 fps. That is a 425 grain arrow with the broadhead. Her is my buck I killed with the rage this year!! It's a closup were you can see the extra points!!! Ihit him a little far back, but I must of destroyed his liver cause he did'nt go 35 yards. He was shot at 52 yards. I pratice out to 60 several times a week.

When you shoot game with them, I've found they work fine.

However (and theres always a however) when just walking around with an arrow nocked, if you brush the broadhead against just about anything (grass, twigs, etc...) they will expand very easily, and for the life of me, I cant get them to go back together and stay together. Once they've flopped open, I cant get them to go back and stay back.

Where do you hunt in El Campo, Rem788. We've been seeing some pretty nice bucks around Wharton county. People are finally letting the deer get some age!!!

About 1 mile west of FM 1300 and 1160. It is family owned land. I agrre with you there. We had some people leasing a property 1 mile south of us and they were killing everything they saw and inviting family members to do the same. Luckily we talked to the landowner and he got rid of them and got a new guy a couple of years ago. My father in law has been seeing some pretty good 8's and 10's for the area.

Ditto.

I have shot the Rage three-blade since the end of the 2006-2007 hunting season and love it.

In that time I’ve been lucky enough to shoot 14 hogs, 6 whitetails and 2 gobblers with them. All of the deer were recovered within 60 yards of the shot with huge entry and exit wounds and easy to follow blood trails. If you practice a lot with the tackle that you hunt with (like everyone should!) and are proficient with it in practice, you can bet that if something goes awry with your shot when it counts, it is usually operator error and not the equipment.

I suffered my first miss ever with the Rage this year on a doe that was at 16 yards, in a shooting lane that I’ve slam dunked several animals on. The arrow clipped hair as it skipped off the does back. I’m still miffed at what happened….did I punch the trigger….did I not follow through and look up on the shot…..did the doe string jump me??? I do know however that it wasn’t the Rage broad head as I recovered it, cleaned it up and used it the next morning drilling a pig at 24 yards. As with most misses, it was the Indian….not the arrow.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky but I would recommend the Rage (Three Blade) to anyone. Both of my bow hunting partners have switched to them and they have performed flawlessly for them also.

Good luck.

I sent two Rage broadheads in, because the cut on contact tip screw was stripped and one of my pratice broadheads ferrule broke. The whole piece broke off where the blade was being held on. I just put them in a envelope with a little letter of what happened. I did'nt even call them; I got the address off their website. About a week later I got a package in and opened it. It was a brand new package of 3 blade Broadheads with the pratice head. They gave me an extra head!!! I've learned when the screws get barely tight thats enough!!!!
