Yep on public by 230..... got some barneys show up 100 yards away 4 of then...then a group 75 yards down from them
... all in a small area..maybe 2 acres.... should be a crappy day...

Jeez.....2:30?? Glad i boat in after hearing that.

That is early for Sunday, I hit the easy button today, had to be gone by 8:00am, my buddy 's son had a hockey game.
Rolled in about 6:05 and shot our limits before 8:00.
Our first trip to our private spot this year, will not hunt it again unless we have to be out early, way too easy.

230 was worth it...got to show a group how to sky blast for real...dropped a widgeon at 50 straight up since the people 100 yrds away shot at the from the time they entered until I dropped one....finished with 9 overall.... some gadwalls 3 reds that widgeon and a bluebill hen...not a bad day

Ha first time ever on public....I was at the point where I figured being shot at for 100 yrds straight there was no way they were gonna circle back....plus they pepperd us and we were pissed....

Thats why i only hunt there with a 10 gauge loaded with buckshot.

You can supersonicskyblast and barneys will leave their spot in no time.

I saw my neighbor barney squeeze a couple of tampons out of his ears prior to leaving the place all pizzed off.
