At academy now. They have remmy 700 adl rifles for sałe @ $379

The last Holiday, Sportsmans warehouse was selling Remington 700ADLs with scope for 399$ in any caliber they had in stock. I thought about buying one, but the last two Remingtons I bought have failed me, so I had serious reservations about buying another. But they did have a 300 win mag, and I need an Elk gun.

We bought my dad a Remington 700 in 308 for Christmas several years back, and the bolt knob fell off.
I bought a 597 when I was 16, and it was a POS. Jammed nearly every magazine. For a teenager, who saved all year to buy a gun they lusted after in magazines for months, having it be a POS was heart breaking.
To be fair, I also own an 870, 11-87, and 552 that I absolutely love.

If you are contemplating a bottom line rifle it's hard to beat Savage. Remington I'd not go below a SPS
