Stayed picky today shouting nothing but drakes till a gadwall hen worked to good to pass. Took a while but was worth it. Sure wish the wind would blow alittle, it picked up at the end and even the woodie decoyed

Other than the fact I shot like ----! Finally found my grove though And my dang dog sucked a little water in his lungs yesterday on a long cripple retrieve in deep water. So I was dogless and will be prolly tomorrow bc he's still hacking a little. My new pup Lizzy won't be ready for a few more weeks. Doh

Great hunt Cody. I'd gladly take your lack of wind. It's blowing about 15 +/- since the opener. Makes the coast pretty rough to hunt. Wind looks to be dying this weekend so we'll see what happens

Needed a drake mallard and it would have been perfect I have several small groups I could have probably killed one with an extreme pass shot but I like em locked up!

Looks good, someone opened the gates this week were I hunted, most of the teal were gone and tons of redheads are here, weird.

$150 per gun for 2 hunters
$125 per gun for 3 hunters

Thanks bud, I'm fairly pleased based on reports from others. A few guys are shooting em decent if ponds but I'm not into that. I love my public land in North East Texas
