Anybody seen any hogs out that way? Family has a ranch out on okalla road and while i was out deer huntin last yr had a bunch of them run off a bunch of does at the feeder! We've had the place for 10 yrs and thats the first time ive ever seen them.

Yes there are plenty over there I was talking to my old boss that wants my trap. He said that the pecan bottoms down that way are torn up from the rooting. The place is right on the banks of the lampasas close to where the old bridge is.

Ya our place is out there on Oakalla road behind the Lucky Penny Ranch. We have clear creek running through our property that's where the pigs came from. I had never seen them out there before but its definitely perfect habitat for them.

should get a Hood Hunters group going. Posted the question if there was interest in the Open hunting forum, but never saw any interest.
 Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

We did this in Germany, and we were really successful in helping new folks get with people who wanted hunters on the land, and gave other hunters a chance to get the word out. Thinking something like a once monthly meeting at the chili's on post or something like that.

I hunt about 8k just west of fort Hood. We catch lots of hogs. This past year was worse number wise then the last five though.

Not much crop over there. I think the deer hunters on the places I hunt put extra pressure on them last season.
