That's good Hope I just hope I don't jump through all the hoops I have to go through to get to my duck hole only to look on the other side and see a "dyed in the wool" Barney. Barneys generally won't put out the effort I am about to, to get to some birds. The good part for me is I have a private hole I can fall back on if I can get a little more rain to fill it up. It's a DU/TP&W joint venture that was completed last year that has never been hunted........... http://youtu.be/vhv9ikImQK4

so far it seems on this site that duck season is all whining and little in the way of fun to check out. used to be it was about posting great pics, stories and reports. Now it seems its all about "barney this, barney that". Hunt ducks again

95% of us know a duck hunt on public can go south faster than a Canvasback. Maybe I am lucky,but less than half of my hunts have been ruined because of a DA barney/topwater/or whatever this years name is. To this public vs private I had several groups of geese flare because a group of hunters across the road started shooting at a group dropping in on them. So even if you are hunting private there is no guarantee it is always better. It is duck hunting not duck shooting. Lets all put our big boy waders on, and enjoy being outside with old friends and new ones. FYI Hopedale that was freaking funny!
