Does anyone know when acorns go rotten.?

whin deer start coming back to my corn feeders & food plot

I hope they do not quit falling for a while. It has really helped the deer around here. Don't just think of yourself, think of the deer too.

I know this will be hard for most of you to believe but deer do not get fat eating acorns.

Yall ever pick up an acorn and there be a pin size hole in it? There's maggots in there then

So wet in Coryell County that 90 percent are ruined at my place..... Already turned black and they are bitter..... Deer hitting feeders way more than the acorns but they are hitting the pecan trees too.

When they get wet too soon after falling they spoil fast. They really need to air dry a little to last very long.
