Can I shoot an over 13" buck in 2 different counties.
Example can I shoot an over 13" buck in Hill county then go hunt Bosque county and shoot an over 13" buck as well?

I believe so. Check the county's website on TPWD.

I think so too, but I believe the order you use your tags will impact if you end up legal, thats how it used to be. BUT I would call your GW and get it from the "horses mouth" or go over the regs good.

Both counties are 1 over 13" and 1 cull

Sounds wrong. So anybody that hunts in a one buck over 13 inches county can partner with a friend on a lease in another county. They can both take two over 13 inches every year as a guess on each other's lease. No culls would ever be shot.

I would check again.

Its not wrong. The 1 buck regs are by county, not state. If he really wanted to he could shoot three bucks over 13", just have to find 3 different counties to hunt in.

It used to be wrong. They changed it several years ago. I can actually shoot 3 bucks on my lease even though it's in a two buck county. The county line runs through the property, so I can shoot two bucks on one side of the place and one on the other. The buck just has to be standing in the county I tag him for when I shoot him.
