I am guiding the next 4 days for Paul Arthur at Lonehollow Ranch in Vanderpool, TX. Scouting this evening I saw 13 bucks over 200 inches riding around with Paul. Paul runs a first class operation with some of the biggest deer in the Texas. Last year they shot 69 bucks that scored 200 plus, an we are looking forward to doing the same this year. If your interested in huge deer, call Paul at 830-741-9100.

In wonder why they didn't want their photos shown? I mean, that's an impressive deer to be hiding, and the place isn't a secret, apparently.

They never post pictures of Clients. I'm not sure why. I do know that Pat Green and Jack Ingram were there to play Music and entertain.A good friend of mine was also guiding. Its a truly amazing place.

I've looked at the website and it does look beautiful. I'm sure each of those deer are $$$$$$$ to hunt. With all the oilfield money, people are able to sell those hunts and best of luck to them. It takes a lot of work and money to get those deer to that size.

I checked out the website, very beautiful place and definitely some monster bucks but this is just not for me. I'm not a fan of these bucks even as big as they are. These things are grown in a controlled environment and there is no way this could happen in low fence operation. To each his own but shooting something like this for me would be meaningless. I would consider the smallest little 7 point on my wall a bigger "trophy".

Well, maybe not entirely, but the #'s show a huge difference between now and "then".

I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's.
