Have an idea on what it's gonna take for you to pull the trigger and stick with it.

16 oz Monster drinks at 5 am make you HAVE TO pee 15 minutes after first light. Baby wipes are a must if shower is not available. Cant take to many socks. Dont let negative people dictate your experience.

Be leary of what might be in your deer blind, take the lens caps off your scope, Definately toilet paper, count the ammo you're carrying(i use one of those ammo holders on butt stock), And NEVER let someone borrow your knife the night before.

I mentioned this in an earlier thread, but be sure to reset your cell phone alarm an hour earlier before going to bed Saturday night. Your phone will reset its clock for the switch back to Standard Time and otherwise wake you up an hour later in relation to the sun.

Dressing like a doe and covering yourself in doe-in-estrous urine isn't nearly as fun as it sounds.

Your friends are screwing with you when they suggest you roll around in cow manure to hide your scent.

When youre about to shoot keep your eye(s) open, take a deep breath, squeeze the trigger and let the gun surprise you.

never trust a fart.....especially 20 foot up in a tree stand..... Also if you don't have TP handy, at the very least carry some soft cotton gloves. Oh, and if you do, throw them in the bushes where nobody will find them, cause your buddy will return them to you thinking you dropped them near the deer blind.

Always....and I mean always, remember to take toilet paper ^^^this. Using socks and underwear as TP for those emergency moments gets expensive through the course of a season.

Don't take things too seriously if you have young hunters along. Coach them and don't push them. They'll be with you next year if they enjoy this year.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Anyone here that would agree a buck can hear the click of a safety being clicked off and live to fight another day? Yep. Its happened to me once. Cant say I agree with not chambering a round until ready to shoot. Thats a lot of noise. Unless your shooting at 300+ yards or so.

Young guys don't take girlfriend to stand if she smells like a nudie bar dancer What?? Better than Tink's! Ever been to a nudie bar? Girls bathe in perfume. Don't pass out to early, could wake up with a painted face or see pics of yourself later with sausage on your face. (Not deer sausage either)

One that's a must for me is a plastic, big mouth, reclosable bottle to pee in. I'm always thirsty so I drink a bunch.

Cant say I agree with not chambering a round until ready to shoot. Thats a lot of noise. Unless your shooting at 300+ yards or so. Twice. Once on a yote and once on a deer. When I get settled in I put a round in, unload before I get out.
