Academy had the game winner neoprene waders on sale for 39.99 today. They aren't anything fancy but will make a good backup pair. I picked up some for me as a backup or when I take someone who doesn't own a pair.

Can't argue with a decent pair of waders for $40. Too bad i spent the full $80 on my Game Winners last summer!

Would you say these would be a good pair for someone just getting into duck hunting this year?

I would say they are the best $39 pair of waders on the market.

Just an FYI I bought 3 pairs 12, 11, and 10 for a buddy. The 11 fit me so the 12 will go back. Or if someone needs them they can meet me in McKinney on Tuesday.
Thanks for the heads up on these.
Btw they are clearance so they should not go up in price.

Thanks for the tip. I went today and picked up a pair for my son. Hopefully we will have some water to stand in this season.

Bought 2 pair in Houston to use as guest waders. Academy on 59 and Kirby had plenty in stock. They were the shadowgrass blades camo. Look like very poor quality compared to my everyday Cabelas waders, but still a deal at $40.
