After following Stxranchman's advice to take the wife on a trip to see the fall foliage at Lost Maples State Park, I was able to earn enough kitchen passes to last the entire deer season. And of course, a stop at the outlet centers along the way in San Marcus helped my cause as well. Thanks again Stxranchman for the tip.

Gotta get that stuff in writing and notarized cuz she can remember that time you messed up 3 years 57 days 10 hours and 6 minutes ago and will remember every detail without hesitation.

Never been there, I guess I need to. What's the best time of year? Whenever the maple leafs change there colors. When they do, get there early that place fills up fast, and it doesn't hold a whole bunch of people. Take a camera. Some years are better then others, it all depends on the weather that year. Usually the best time is the first couple of weeks in November, and after a good cold front.
