RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
The scale system is as follows. If you shoot a duck that is not on this list, then it does not count for any points
Woodie Drake - 3pts
Pintail Drake - 3pts
Canvasback Drake - 3pts
Cinnimon Teal Drake - 3pts
Mallard Drake - 2pts
Goldeneye Drake - 2pts
Buffelhead Drake - 2pts
Redhead Drake - 2pts
Widgeon Drake - 2pts
Ruddy Duck Drake - 2pts
Black Duck Drake - 2pts
Mottle Duck Drake - 2pts
Gadwall Drake - 2pts
Merganser Drake - 2pts
Ringneck Drake - 2pts
Shovler Drake - 2pts
Whistler Drake - 1pt
Bluewing Teal Drake - 1pt
Greenwing Teal Drake - 1pt
Any hen of any species - <-1pt>
You must deduct 1 point for any Hen harvested.
10 POINT BONUS for:
Banded birds
ALSO..Sense this is for viewing fun,
1 point for any Goose, limit to 6 birds.
No lines drawn across TEXAS.
NOTE...
This tournament will run all season long. I will keep a point log EACH WEEK (I might need some help with this). You MUST post pictures of your birds every week. We need to be honest as this is a fun tournament.
If you wish to partcipate in this tournament you must follow all the rules.

So no points for the hen, and quadruple minus for misidentifying a bird. So, that would mean a total of: 1 Widgeon Drake = actually Widgeon hen (2pts * 4 = -8) 4 Gadwall Drake = 8pts Total = 0 pts

Matt's got my proof of pictures So i suppose I dont get points till he posts up my noose but here's what I got:
hen Gadwall -1pt
2 drake Gadwall +2pts each
1 drake Wood duck + 3pts
So total so far i'm +6pts

I only shot a gwt drake and a hen, so I'm at zero. No need for pics.

I shot 2 drake green wings and a hen on opener. And followed it up with 3 green heads and a hen the next day.   3 mallard drakes= 6pt 2 greenwing drakes= 2pt 2 hens= -2pt total so far= 6pt does erly teal season count?

No really, it is important that you post pics so the specie and sex can be properly ID’d, otherwise it is kinda of senseless contest. Plus I think that is really part of the fun of this contest is the duck ID part. 
Also, you guys need to help LSU out and calculate your own score.

This is not me with this gadwall drake, but it is one that I shot. We had 2 drakes come in Sat morning and we took pics with my friend's digital camera...unfortunately his roomates beagle ate his cord he needs to download the pics onto the computer(the underlying theme here is never buy a beagle)  . Just happened to take one pic with my phone...sorry about the clarity.  1 gadwall drake = 2 pts -cable
