I can't get anything accomplished today. I just wanna go home and launch the boat. This is the longest day ever and it's only 10:45 am. Now I remember what Christmas was like as a kid. I wanna open my presents NOW!

I am about to hit the road, but ain't duck hunting. I should have left already, but the wife had been sick so I stuck around. I am loading up the small kayak and a few decoys just in case. If I get a buck over the weekend I will hit one of the small west texas lakes for a duck hunt or two before I come home. But if no deer, then probably no ducks. I usually avoid the first opener and wait till things settle down mid week anyway. You guys be careful out there and may the barnies not crowd you.

took off today to prepare for opening day but being excited i was done by noon now im just laying around looking at the migration map on du, watching duck hunting movies and praying for an unexpected cold front

Went to academy and bought one of those air lucky wind activated spinning wind decoys and put it together at work today....LOL
