I have deer coming in everyday to this feeder. Should I hope take a chance that my 6 year old will be quiet long enough to get a shot off on a deer in a pop up 65 yards from feeder? But at the same time possibly she wanting to talk and scare everything in the county. Or should I take her to the tower Stand (240 yds from the feeder)where we can talk eat candy play on the iPad? I know deer are going to walk out but not likely the deer are going to get close enough to take a shot. She has been pig hunting with me but never sat in the stand long. I just want her to have a good time and want to come back

65 yd stand iPad with games. Take quiet snacks she will enjoy and a good drink. Just explain before you go she has to be vary vary quiet. 65 is not so close to be to close. If she does make a little noise don't get frustrated. It's about being with each other more than getting a buck. Enjoy each other it goes quick. Don't lose sight of the big picture and have fun. Good luck!

In the pop up. Try to stay quite, but if it don't work out I promise y'all will still have fun. Look at your trail cam pics and try to decide when you should get set up without having to wait too long.

We're going to walk to the blind at 7ish. My little one doesn't care much for walking in the dark and I've got 2 doe coming usually between 8 and 8:20am. If it was me hunting alone I'd be set up at 5:30am, but I don't want her to get uncomfortable.

I've been taking my son since he was 3. We have spooked plenty of deer with our snacks and his feet hitting the blind wall over the years. That was some of the best training you could ask for. When he bumped the wall and saw the deer haul butt he understood so much better than ole dad just telling him. Practice makes perfect though. Now he is quieter than I am and gets on to me rofl
