I asked this while I was in another post. I seem to have a problem 5-10 min before daylight while in my blind. My gut starts making noises and the pressure starts building up in the exit hole in my rear. This happens every.....I mean every time. I was thinking about taking a 5 gal bucket to the blind with me and using it and then put a lid on it when I'm done. What do you guys do when this happens?

put a bag in it so you can tie it up and then put the lid on it. This way you take the bag and you dont have to clean the bucket. Did it for years. The good thing is if you tell everyone what its for then you bucket will alway be there, no one will touch it.

Maybe you need to make your bathroom at camp look like your blind.. pretend you are going to the blind.. trick your body into a different schedule.

I've been hunting for over 50 years now, and it has been that way as slon as I remember. I've tried hot water, coffee, sitting there until my legs go to sleep, reading. I had a blind real close to my house at the rance. I tried sitting in it before going to my blind. I guess my case of buck fever is just different than most folks. I will try the bags. I'm going to see if I can ge a roll of gallon freezer bags and use them. I just hope the bag will be big enough. I don't want to get started making sausage and run out of casing!

I customized my blind. I have a 16' tower blind. I dug a hole underneath and put a small septic system underneath. Then I placed a little porta potty in the corner of my blind, attached 4" pvc straight down to the ground. (no bends..can't afford blockage). I camo sprayed the pvc and tied brush around the pvc all the way to the ground. I hung a magazine rack next to my lil toilet loaded with Texas Trophy Hunter magazines. I can now easily stay in my blind all day with no worries.

I feel for you.

I take a couple Immodiums 2 days before I go and another the night before. That usually gets me through the morning hunt.

Thanks for the reminder. I start taking Immodium tonight.

I tried using the Dr Sprcket rectum rockets, but I could not make myself insert them without feeling violated!

I understand your concerns. I had my wife try to do that for me....but one thing led to another .... and well...That became a forgotten issue.........

If you are worried about filling a gallon sized ziploc then I would have to say you are full of s#?!

I usually just tough it out and hold it until after my hunt.
But in the rare cases that it is just too much to bare, I get out of my stand and find a tree somewhere near by and let things happen. I always keep fresh T.P in my stand!

this gets the funny post of the season.....funny because its real, i've found that if I wake up 30 min early and make sure to take care of business i'm good to go, but it does happen, i like the PVC idea, and have thought about doing that but my blind isnt large enough for a seat...i guess I could make it a low seat and put my char over it...i dunno,

the man at the top of the mountain didn't fall up it

Well I wish I had made this problem up. But alas it is what follows me to the blind every morning. I've tried everything shy of taking the hose and hot water to it. But still I can't make that happen either. I was just trying to see what others do when they are attacked by lower pains. I have tried to wait it out, but my forehead will break out in beads of sweat, I get a vein that pops out in my neck, feels like I'm changing into a wearwolf! I'm just glad there in nobody around to see me walking out of my blind like my feet are on fire. So I guess I'll be making home made peanut butter Sat morning either 5 min before shooting light or just after. Only this year I'll have a bucket and freezer bags with me!

lmao, i took a pretty good buck after making the carl lewis out of the tripod one year. felt like superman shucking off the coveralls, jeans, long johns. and only made it about 20 yards from the tripod to some mesquite and cactus for cover. it was freezing cold and drizzling sleet. got done got back in the tripod figuring i had ruined my hunt. a few minute's later the ol' buck walked out, maybe i should use that cent instead of tinks?

This is a good idea. I'm ordering me one! I'll use the bucket until I can get one. I'm a little worried about the bag, and the back splash it may have, but I think I have that covered also. Good luck to all this weekend...

Eat real early the day before and fight through the hunger that night. By about 10 pm, you will be showing that turd who's boss.
