I used the red fox urine. Bought it at ag supply got empty medicine bottles drilled tiny holes in top. Stuff cotton balls inside and poured in urine. Put top back on and placed medicine bottles under and all around inside trailer and has worked good for us. You'd think you would smell it but we don't smell it and it works
When all is said and done, there's nothing left to say or do!

I use one of those electronic plug ins. Works great. The only time I have seen any signs of them is when the cows had unplugged my extention cord.

Keep a radio on while you're gone from the lease. I've used that for years! Rats chewed the cord in the radio....go figure. I'm try it I've I fix the cord....again

had a friend last year who was driving his polaris on the deer lease and it started on fire and bullets started exploding. Once he got the fire out he found a nest between his undercarriage and the skid plate that the heat started on fire. The mice had not only made the nest but took 22 shells out of his cab and stored them with the nest - Yikes!
You can't fix stupid

I use one of those electronic plug ins. Works great. The only time I have seen any signs of them is when the cows had unplugged my extention cord. I use the plug ins., three in fact. Supposed to send a signal out into all the wiring in the trailer. Mice don't like it. Also have what I call is a squeaker. Makes a heck of a noise. I just plug that in as I step out and lock the trailer. Has run the mice out of my trailer. One mouse in 3 years is not bad.

I've been using the other plug in nose makers with no apparent effect. If there us some do dad that keeps they out I really need to know about it. Wife hates/scared to death of rodents but she'll shoot a deer out hog; go figure.

With all these different ideas I have no excuses having a mouse problem any longer.

I went to a friends deer lease once and they had cats, and a deer feeder throwing out cat food. They had no mice.

Get like 10 cans of pepper spray and take them out to the ranch. Every time you leave, spray a little in side.... JUST A LITTLE TOOT. then spray it under and around the trailer. The powder will stick to the undercarriage. If you do it every time your rat problem will be, no more. Watch out for the wind...
Coincidentally, one of my co-workers thought he'd spray a little spurt in the office yesterday... not the brightest idea.. for the most part it will settle to the ground inside after an hour, if you don't spray a lot. But if you spray some in the trailer them go back for your sunglasses, you will pay the price.

I just plug it in as I leave, unplug when I return. Leave it running year round. This one has made it 2 to 3 years so far.
Used to cost I believe about 30.

The only thing I'm trying to keep out is mice. Anything else dies from lack of food/water when I'm not there.

Tomcat (link below)..
Fill the box, or better yet, a couple of boxes. Also scatter a few blocks around about camp if you don't have dogs. Check each week and re-fill when necessary.
We took over from some very messy fellows on our new lease, corn bags absolutely everywhere, which meant rats and mice everywhere.
2 weeks of the tomcat treatment and they are all gone and i can sleep without the constant sound of feet above my head..
Good luck
