Well I have decided that I'm probably going to leave the gun at home on Saturday mornin and just work with my pup. I do have one buddy that is going, but he has only been duck huntin' once back in teal season. I have a 17' boat so I can accomodate up to 2 more people. I'll be heading up to DFW at about 11 p.m. I haven't scouted the lake in about 2 weeks, so I don't really know what to expect. I'm just going to an old honey hole that usually does good.

I'm going up to Lubbock this weekend otherwise I'd take you up on it. We'll hook up later in the season for sure though.

We'll get into them down here...just need a bit of rain. So dry down here is messed everything up.

Yea we need rain everywhere. I did hear some geese out at lake Skunk on Sunday, but never could see them. I also had a flock of about 20-30 cranes fly over.

If we were to get some rain, good enough to get the lakes back to normal level, would we start to see some birds?
Or at this point are they going to keep going to RockPort for food, etc?
