I was lucky enough last year to take a mainframe 8 with a split G2 that went 154 1/8" and this one looks almost identical. With a little G4 and the extra split, I'll agree with a couple others and say he is definitely pushing 160" if not a tad over. Congrats to your wife!!!!!!

Great buck no matter what the score. He will make an even better looking mount. Lot of us eating crow on this one. Post up the measurements when you get time for us that were off. Congrats again!

Looked at trail cam pics first and guessed 145, seeing the after shots I know I thought his brow tines were longer and he's not as wide as I thought. Awesome buck congrats!

I bet he don't, unless after the OPs wife killed him and they didn't clean him smile

I hunt in Lampasas county, just west of Lampasas. That's a great deer for the area. That's every bit as good as the best deer we've ever seen in five years of hunting 1,000 acres with plenty of game cameras.

And just like all the pictures of we've ever taken and passed around to people, most people not from the area thinks the deer are younger than what they are and will score higher than what they actually do.

And over half of our mature bucks, 3+ years or older have those crab claws.

Please let me know who ages him and post up the age when you get it. At the youngest he could be 4 1/2 but I'm betting on 1 or 2 years older than than.

Congrats!
