Heading out Friday for a bow hunt near Lometa. Anyone have any news on what the deer are doing?

went this past weekend hunting was good saw lots of deer. where do you hunt around lometa

I have hunted begween Lometa and Star quite a few times.
Good area with a lot of deer,!

went this past weekend hunting was good saw lots of deer. where do you hunt around lometa We're going to the Terra Dei ranch this weekend. I hunted there when they first opened it up but that was 10 years ago. I'm just looking to fill the freezer. Supposedly he has a good axis herd and they are fair game as well. The new Barnett crossbow is going to be flinging bolts this weekend.
