i know this is a tx board, but i'm going pheasant hunting in KS in a few weeks and want to do some yotey hunting as well. Anybody hunted them there? do i need a diffent permit,besides the regular huntin license? Have read their web site and cant find any good info, any help would be appreiciated.

dont have info on license you need but kansas definately has a large number of the best looking dogs ive ever seen i deer hunt there and they are some really big pretty yotes good luck on info you might try

I would say that you have to have a license. When I lived there, I got a ticket for shooting prairie dogs without a license. Even the JP had to look that one up.

I told the GW that I figured they were just like sparrows and rabbits. The GW said, "you need a license to hunt them also".
