I emailed them a week ago and they replied it would be out in a week or two. Pretty handy to get out around opening weekend.

I've seen times when it was right on target.

I hope it comes out before the opening youth quail weekend. It would be nice to see what they say before we hit the field at Chap. BTW, any hunters looking for a young female AKC GSP, I have one that needs a HUNTING home. I don't want to let her go to non hunters. She's too birdy and should be the perfect companion. I own both parents.

It's up now, though you may not want to look at it. frown They give reasons why the rolling plains number may be underestimated, lets hope so.

Typical, both Rollins and Quail Tech are reporting increases in bird numbers across the Rolling Plains this year. Some places better than others, as usual TPWD is a Ostrich with its head in the sand.

I guess I'll pass on wild birds in Texas for another year. My lease in Shamrock said he had numerous coveys but wanted to hold off another year hoping for good conditions again next year.

I respect that and agree.

Here's hoping our Bobs can keep improving.
