Nice story and great buck. That's a great lesson in making sure you don't take your deer too early. Let them grow another year or two and they can turn into something spectacular!

meh! Tell us more about these 4 longbeards. Well BWho I did consider shooting the gobbler sporting a 12" rope...for about 1 second. After the longbeards kicked me around all spring, they certainly did me a favor on this sit...I may not be so mad at them come April....Nawww!!!

I'm betting you're still up early and on stand with those kiddos! Thanks! You know I will have them on stand around Thanksgiving when they are on break from school but right now they are busy, busy with school..sports etc. So...for the next several weeks it's just me I do have them some nice ones scouted out if the neighbors don't get them first.
