I was bored one day last year and built this homemade gravity feeder. I put it out on a sendero that fans out from my blind. I have a timed feeder on another sendero that fans in a different direction, so this feeder is usually only filled when I'm at the ranch actively hunting. I decided to put a camera next to this gravity feeder just to see what would come by. I filled it up about a month ago and let the camera run. I was kind of excited when I went out on Sunday to check out the pics, but when I uploaded them, this is what I found.

That's me setting up the camera with mud on my face!

Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Ever since we went on a hog trapping/killing spree two years ago, the pigs seem to avoid the trap. We may need to move it to a new location. I think I'll use this current set up to do some night hog hunting. It's perfect because it's only 130 yards from my blind. I was hoping on seeing some bucks, on this feeder, but I guess I made it too easy for the pigs to get to the food.

I think it'll be fun shooting those pigs at my hog pipe.
