Several years ago I built this rack for a 14' jon boat. Didn't need it and it was just taking up space.  Friend of mine sold me a dozen T posts and about 5 hog panels. 1 whole and the rest in 10' sections for $40. A little cutting, little welding and BAAZING.....We have "Hog Trap"  Trip cable & 3 legged mount for feeder  Close-up of "door trip latch"  Removable Feeder Mounted  Shield in place to drop corn into trap  Cost??? about $65 and some welding rods. (Before I got my thumb caught in the door)

Are those better than the round ones w/ t-posts or is it about the same I really don't know. I've never used a round one.....but this one fits nicely on a small trailer so it's easy to move!

Very nice. I know an ole boy that keeps/acquires anything and I mean EVERYTHING made of steel. He has at least 5 acres covered in random stuff. Calls it his 401k. If you need to build it, he has the materials for anything.

Put it out last Monday! Corn & Hog Wild in the feeder and the door chained open....Giving them time to find it.
Next week we're taking the trailer up for the season and I'll be setting it to see what happens. One of the guys has a "bottom" blind near a creek with good hog sign. We put it near there and I told him if he wanted to he could set it, but he needed to check it every day.
I'll keep ya posted!

Very nice!! Just a thought.........we attached a long rope on the door to be able to safely get the door open when 3 skunks got trapped

That is sweet. We use a pen made from hog panels and t-posts. Let's deer and turkey escape.

Used to have that same exact 5th wheel trailer. Wish I would have never sold it. It was the lightest and best pulling trailer I ever had and perfect on the inside.
