Looking to get my 13 year old grandson into archery. Would like a bow that has a lot of adjustment so he can work his way up during the next few seasons. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, PK

Mission Craze has one of the largest adjustment ranges in the industry.

The all-new Craze is a grand slam in bow design. No other bow on the market can brag over 40 lbs. of weight adjustment. This bow truly lives up to the hype of its name with parallel limbs, a highly-adjustable dual-cam system, a compact riser and a mere 3.6 pound of mass weight. Dig into the stats, and you’ll be even more impressed: up to 70 lbs of power, 80% let off and an ample 306 fps…all for under $300.

My wife has the Craze. For 100 more I would consider the Mission Riot.

Craze my wife loves it, I love my riot but it's not as compact as the craze, I'd go with the craze IMO.

There are a bunch of great youth bows today.

My daughter shoots a Hoyt Ruckus, it is a tremendous bow.

The aforementioned Mission bows are also popular.

PSE offers the Chaos, in single and dual cam models. Diamond has the Infinite Edge, which has passed up the Craze in adjustability. Bear has the Apprentice 3 coming out this year, another highly adjustable bow.

All that said, at 13, he is a young man, and will be growing like crazy and getting strong in a hurry. It may be a good idea to look at an adult bow. Something like the Hoyt Charger, Bear Attitude or Authority, a Bowtech Assassin or similar.
