I use corn exclusively for deer at the moment and have been wondering about some of the other kinds of stuff people put out for them. What some things that you guys have used with success?

Corn. Corn in a spin feeder year round. Corn out of a road feeder in the fall to the end of deer season. Deer sightings go up greatly when I start using the road feeder.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

They feed quite a bit of sugar beets in this area, especially in the nasty weather. Plenty of energy and the deer and hogs always look good. Along with whatever is cleaned out of combines and/or falls thru the screens at the coop. One guy uses a garden chopper/shredder and collects stuff from store and bakery dumpsters (nothing rotten)... Runs dried bread and/or the still useable veggies thru them mixes the concoction with soaked beet pulp and whatever grains he has on hand in a cement mixer and feeds almost daily in nasty weather... It's funny to watch. The deer know the difference if he is bringing food or hunting (timing I guess).. When food comes, they'll stand back and watch at a comfortable distance... If it's not feed time, they get out of Dodge.... Says he even has hogs lurking at feed time but they are more shy than the deer....
