It was killed in Austin. Found under my grand dad's grill coiled up.

Now you are going to have a rat problem. Quite possibly Too many people have that "only good snake is a dead snake" mentality. If you have snakes around your house you likely have rodents. If you leave them be they'll do their job.

It's not a rat snake. Bull snake. Bad azz to have around. A Bull Snake is one of the better GOOD snakes to have around as they will EAT the BAD snakes AND your rodents.

Good ole chicken snake you got to watch those things I got one around the house I mess with sometime and he gets pissed real easy and will strik if I don't leave him alone but then other times he lets me pick him and don't care at all, it's been around for a while in the same place
