Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

The majestic pig is not getting much love......

I have to admit I voted the first to "no", but I had to vote "yes" for the majestic pig question. You get a big boar bayed up and fighting with a catch dog they can be very majestic and and something to respect. But then I will leave them in the brush and move on to the next one.

Bacon is magestic. Bacon comes from pigs. Does that not make pigs magestic by default?

MAJESTICAL BACON!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

Poll simply shows ratio of those who simply hunt them as a supposed "game" animal vs. those who actually have to deal with them on a regular basis.

My motto is "kill a pig, then Kill another"
First... teach a child to love GOD.
Teach them second... to love their family.
Third, teach them to hunt & fish... and by the time they reach
their teens, no dope peddler under the sun...will ever have a
chance to teach them anything. ---Cotton Cordell

Mine is "you shoot it, you clean it" I am guessing you don't own the land you hunt on, or you don't have large numbers of pigs.
Having said that, shot placement is key and there is only one level of dead. Us east Texans can't afford turquoise and elk ivories for jewelry. So we use hog tushes and coon peckers.

I voted yes to all. But I've never killed a pig or even seen one on our property. I just wanted to see the results. Was starting to feel left out.

hogs are the only non predator animal I have this mindset with. Just too many of them to worry about eating every one of them .
Just doing it for fun now.

I've got property but doesn't get many pigs at all. They're not a problem so therefore what I kill I will clean it.

You never seen a pig in Crosby?? Not on us. The property around us is too divided. Every now and then you will see a couple running one of the little bayous near me but they dont hang around. Its both a blessing and a curse.

Not fair questions really. I killed 30 in the last year and cleaned 28 so I can't say I clean every one. And I don't have a problem with you letting them lay but I do have a problem with me letting them lay. Does that make sense?
