Has anybody had any luck with dove in north texas? The cold from pushed some birds south I suspected because I haven't killed near as many birds. I haven't hunted in a couple of weeks and didn't know if any new bids have come in yet.

I've been seeing a ton of new birds here in Bell County. Mostly Mourings though.

The few mournings I killed today were very large mature birds, possibly northern birds.

How are JW fields treating you? Lots of dove this year? We hunted just north of Abilene last Friday and were covered in birds. Large groups.

So far every field we have hunted has produced. Some better than others. Very impressed so far.

I'll be hunting down there this Saturday. Have been told there a lot of birds! Should be even better Saturday after the cold front pushes through...
