I've only named a few. Admittedly, mine aren't that exciting though. The first one I named was when I was hunting Fort Gordon in Georgia. I had this little spot that I hunted a lot and I saw a certain 4-point frequently. But every time I saw him, he was getting blown at by a doe. This happened several times. He earned the moniker, "Blow Job." Another deer I have seen frequently at my place is the "One-horned Wonder," who as I am sure you can imagine, only has one antler. I have also been watching "Little Caesar" who has the biggest Roman nose I've ever seen. Hard to tell, but here's his pic:

I've got a spike with 4" spikes that shows up like clock work...I call him my 11 pointer!
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

I usually don't name them these days but did last year on a buck I was trying to get my Dad to kill, called him No Show Jones. When I would sit I would see and when I my Dad was here he was a no show.

Had one a few years back. I had shot a nice 152" 11 pt. just few days before and was sitting in the blind watching for does, when this eight pt. came out of the trees. He looked good, but we're in a one buck country. When he turned, I almost cried! This sucker looked like he was a mile wide, so I named him "Wide Track". I think the neighbor's buddy may have shot him a few weeks later. If he did, he probably sawed the antlers off and threw them in the back of his pickup to rot...

Couple of years ago we named a young 3 point "Punk" because we had several game cam pictures of mature bucks chasing him off a feeder and about every other time we would see him on camera or in person he had a new scar somewhere on his body. Seemed he kept coming back for more so we named him Punk.

Buck I'm hunting this year is RayRay Vaguespread.
RayRay for a buddy of mine that is begging me not to shoot him because of his unique characteristics (double split mainbeam). He's a rich fellow with a lease on the King Ranch, so his requests are ringing hollow.
"Vaguespread" for his double mainbeams and uncertainty in calc'ing the inside spread as proposed by our very own stxranchman.
I call him RayRay in my head. RayRay busted my [censored] Saturday morning. Going after him again this evening.
So far it's

We had a big 10 we called ole crab claw for 3 years we saw him and ever year he had crab claws on both sides. A 13 we called funky horn. He had beautiful typical on one side and the other side looked like a bush. Dang ARs we could not shoot him even though he was 5+ y.o.

My bro always names the deer on his TC just to keep them separate. One in particular had a huge split in his ear, looked to be all the way to his head, and it was missing a chunk of ear off the other side. I suggested he call it "Holyfield". It stuck immediately.
I know he enjoys coming up with names for them as much as he likes looking at the TC pics.
"I have too many guns," said no one, ever.

"Big Bertha" for my big 'ol doe. "Big Willy" for my big 'ol buck.
I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.
