So since none of us are perfect what made you smack your head and say doohhhh? For me I hung my bow on the hanger inside my pop up. Got out to set my thermacell and kicked the tie down rope which caused the top hub to fall in and my bow to fall about 1'. Well a doe comes in i take the shot and was way high. Got back to camp and looks like at 40yds I was shooting 2' high.

I didn't tell my boss that I was already at the deer lease. So I got to work instead of hunt.

Nothing so far. Now, last year was a different story.. non eventfull so far..

I don't know if mines a goof, but crawled in the stand about 2hrs ago and went to pull my bow back just to get comfortable with it and half way into my draw my bow string had a couple of strands break. Now I'm sitting here seeing what everyone of y'all are doing, lol.

Trusted the forecast and hunted in the wrong place two hunts in a row.

Didn't brush in the left side of my blind I built Saturday as good as I should've and got caught trying to draw on a gobbler at ten yards. Learned my lesson and shot the hen before she got to that point about half hour later.

didn't check my brush blind and didn't have enough cover. corrected that mistake and got impatient and tried to draw too quickly and got busted.

I didn't keep track of all of the deer. I had one small buck that came in and he skirted behind me and knew something wasn't right. At 10yds., its hard to be invisible. But he didn't blow out....he just trotted out of site.

Didn't go...father went to my stand and shot a dang fine buck

Forgot all my scent free hunting clothes for the weekend and was busted on 4 seperate occasions in one morning. Checked the camera and had a nice mature 7 a few hours before I got in my blind..

I missed a doe at 30 yards with a crossbow. And dang was I mad at myself

I was in the stand and ready to go at exactly shooting time. I guess it takes longer than I thought to get there. On top of that, my feeder never went off all weekend.

Should have took a doe yesterday when I had tbe chance.... Sitting in the blind and I see is birds under the feeder..

Stepped on a Rattler...

I forgot my dang Thermacell at camp on Saturday morning. Skeeters were out with a vengeance. I had it at the stand that afternoon and Sunday morning.

I built this set for a south wind, and just before Saturday lunch the wind shifted to the north. I was nervous and upset, because I don't have a north wind setup right now. It apparently turned out OK, I still saw quite a few deer, but no shooters.

I had the perfect south wind stand setup, hunted and was decent Saturday morning. My north wind stand wasn't finish yet just hung makes me wish I had that north wind stand finished with a feeder. other mistake was not being prepped for that yote that snatched a rabbit under my feeder Sat a.m

Forgot that I took my rainsuit out of my backpack.

On the brightside....I did not have to take a shower Saturday night.

Dropped a full glass bottle of cologne night before. Shattered all over me. No deer. Thought the ladies would have liked it!

Been waiting all year for this moment. I went to check all my feeders and stands the day before opening day just to make sure everything is working as its supposed to be. Well all stands were messed up from the wind but not bad- well until I reached my last one. Apparently the wind had ripped all my large spikes up, and blew it into the dry pond about 50 yards away- well then the rain came. So my goof was not tying my blind down good enough apparently

Not really a goof. Shot a hog in the pouring rain. Obviously no blood trail. Found my arrow and it was a clean pass thru with lots of hair on the Rage. Didn't have as much as a track to follow after all the rain.

Not bringing my golf clubs with me... Or my bass boat....

Missed a turkey hen by about 5"

Got two of them one me and the other my dad. I stuck my head out of my pop knowing that their was a pig behind the blind and when I did he busted me and for my dad he got in his pop up and lifted the bag that holds the blind and a skunk came out of it wish I could have seen him try to get out

No THermacell, and cut my thumb nearly to the bone when skinning my buck.
