I always wander through Academy to kill time before my Thursday night softball league. Saw a clearance tag on a b-mobile Tom decoy displayed up on the top shelf. $30 for a regular $65+ item. Talked to a manager cuz I couldn't find one and he checked the computer, and looked around the shelves, but the 2 they showed listed in stock were not to be found. He climbs up and takes down the display and hands it to me along with the clearance tag and says to tell em to charge me $15. Nothing wrong with it at all except no box. Score.

Truth is, I didn't really need another tom deke, but now with the dekes I already have, I have 2 full sets for the ranch if I have guests.

Never know when you run across a deal in there.

I was browsing thru academy on cherry lane yesterday and saw the display killer b for 69 bucks marked down to 29 then asked the manager if it could go lower for being a broken fan and he took it to 14 dollars and I am putting a real fan on it since it came with the real fan holder. Hell yeah

Cool. I was surprised they still had turkey stuff to clear out and was hoping others might check it out and find some deals as well. Ask for a deal on a display or damaged item... Won't kill ya if they say no.

Two academy's I went to today had all turkey calls on sale. Most were half price or better

on my way to Academy..... damn you guys.... your costing me money!

Now that I think about it, I bet they have something I really need. I'll know when I see it.

Dang just had to let y'all know. Went to academy at Bryant Irvin Rd today and they had last years bmobile display for 29 bucks. Told the manager it was a year old and he gave it to me for $14.99. Doing the happy dance. Now I have two bmobiles and the killerb
