Congrats if you did but the site says: You must apply for a chance to obtain a permit to hunt at the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge. Applications for the general hunt and youth hunt are $10.00. The lottery selection process will be completed by September 20, 2013. https://secure.kinsail.com/partners/parks.asp?p=balco&pt=fws
Psalm 3:3 - But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.

Yeah, I just called and was told they're waiting on the Balcones people to confirm the lists. The "Application Successful" just means that I successfully completed the application, not that I was drawn. Said I should know something by tomorrow.

Do you have to have special needs to apply to Balcones Canyonland?

Supposedly, but I haven't received an email either way. where is the tract that is being hunted? Unit 3 is about 8 miles west of Liberty Hill on 1869. Do you have to have special needs to apply to Balcones Canyonland? Nope.

Unit 3 is a humdinger of the place to hunt, Unit 8 is probably the worst!
