Anybody know about how much it costs to get a 5th wheel hitch mounted into that bed of a f250 longbed?

No, call the RV shops in your area. They will tell. Mines welded at the underside to the frame. Rails on top could be unbolted and removed when selling truck.

You needing a 5th wheel or gooseneck?
They aren't real hard to put in, just takes a little time and enough guts to cut a couple holes in a $40-50K truck.
It's hell eatin em live

I dont know if you have checked into it, but my 5th wheel is converted to a goose neck hitch. I didnt want the hassle of messing with a 5th wheel hitch in and out. The conversion kit is pretty easy to do yourself. I think it cost 2 or 3 hundred bucks. Great for someone like me who already had a gooseneck ball.

Get a B&W gooseneck and then buy the companion 5th wheel hitch. No stinking rails in your bed. Little pricey but well worth it.

Thanks for the info so far. I do not have a gooseneck ball in the bed of my truck. I have called around to a few shops but I'm having trouble getting a price on having one installed that I 'm going to purchase from a friend. All the prices are if I buy a new one from them. I'm currently offshore working at the moment and can't call out. Just looking for a price to install if I already have the hitch and rails? is there anything else that is needed? Do the rails come with the underneath mounting brackets? this is just for a one time move to from my house in DFW to deer lease in Archer City so if someone could give me a quote on cost to move it for me that could be another possible option if installing a hitch is to expensive.

Most places will charge you about 4 hrs labor so whatever the labor rate is at the shop you use.

Well I have a goose neck and not a fithwheel or I would help out. I think it cost 500 or so to have mine installed, and that was with buying the hitch.
