Was scouting public land today and found a lot of tracks in the bottom of a creek. It was very sandy and the tracks were scattered but one had dew claws.... any ideas?

I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's.

All of those are deer tracks. Any deer will leave dew claw marks if it's heavy enough or if ground is soft, muddy, etc.

Most are positively deer, the ones that cant say for sure are distorted and are also probably deer.

Hogs have a more rounded foot while deer tracks will come out more long narrow and pointy.

First Pic is a deer. A buck deer. He's a 2 1/2 yr old. If this is in a AR county, he is not legal, only supporting a 12" wide rack of 6 points. He walked thru that area last Fri morning at 8:03 heading southwest. He weighs 110 lbs.
Second pic is a deer. A doe. She is so old, she no longer has fawns. She came thru on Thursday afternoon at 5:39 heading East/Northeast. She weighs 101 lbs and 2 oz.
Third Pic is a deer. A doe. She is a young deer, 2 1/2 yrs old. She lost her first fawn this past spring. She came thru Sat morning at 7:28 heading due south. She weighs a mere 90 lbs and 8 oz.
Fourth Pic is a deer. A buck deer. He's a 3/12 yr old supporting 8 points and has a inside spread of 14 and 7/8 inches. He will be a great deer in 2 more yrs. He weighs 124 lbs and 5 oz. He came thru Fri night at 10:43 heading due west.
No, I'm not a track expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night!!! up

Looks like all deer to me. Hogs are more square and blocky. deer are long and narrow, heart shaped when walking, splayed when running or trotting.

The first 3 pics look like deer. The 4th looks like a pig track. Typically our pigs leave those deep impressions that look like someone pushed their finger in the ground. The ground is cracked around it and makes it a little harder to tell. The second pic could even be a coyote or dog track that a deer stepped in. The first one and last one are the freshest. 2cents

Looks like deer to me as well.

My FIL grew up hunting big country in New Mexico. They used to look for fresh tracks where the dew claws were clear, then stay on those. He said the majority of time it would lead you to big bucks because they were heavy.
