12 pages of nerve wracking excitement. I cannot wait to get to the lease during season and give my own hunt. I am going to be on a new lease and success is only a shot away. Thanks for the live hunt guys.

Alright...I let my phone die and it was on of the better hunts. I apologize...

Was going slow, quiet night and first buck to walk out was the kicker deer. Same buck that I let go the first morning. He eased in from behind me and ended up staying around 16 yards for almost 45 minutes.

Let me tell you, I was excited. This is a very nice buck and would be my best bow buck to date. He is a 12 pointer, main frame 9 with split G2's and a kicker off the base of his brow tine. Beautiful buck that carries his mass well. Just not the buck I am after right this minute. He tempted me and tempted me and then tempted me again...my restraint was wearing thin and then he turned and left. I can tell you, there was a little regret as I watched him circle the edge of the bean field...he looked even bigger at 50 yards, 100 yards and at 150 yards he was 150" walking away grin

Ended up having two more 8's show up with similar frames as him and then a few scrub bucks. Fun evening, great weather and some great action.

Here are a couple of crappy cell phone pics

And that is him on the left

Thanks guys, you are making me feel sooooo much better about my choice rofl

I think I would have been happy either way. Stud of a deer, but I have plenty of time left, and a few more trips left to go. But damn he sure is pretty...

Well, up and at it getting ready for the morning hunt. Temp will be a brisk 50 degrees with a slight breeze. Weather is showing it to be North/North west wind switching to South mid-hunt...now how in the world do you plan for that???

Thinking about going back to the stand I hunted yesterday and shooting the first doe that makes an appearance or I wil hunt the last stand that I have yet to sit at...probably going to be a last minute decision.

Buddy that hunts on my place is rolling in today, if he gets the chance, pretty sure he will pop the kicker deer and I will get to see what I passed up.

Stinky has had some tough hunting, so I am hoping this morning provides a positive swing in his luck and he gets a shot at his first bow kill and a Kansas brute!!!
